Last Night- Prom

Yet again, I have to apologise for not keeping up with my daily schedule that I was aiming to maintain. Over the past few days I've been rather busy and was having a good think about what other things I want to blog about. I've made myself a long list of ideas and feel a lot more prepared to put the effort in now!

So last night, we had our year 11 prom. It was a great night full of happiness, dancing, eating, drinking, chatter and LOTS of photos, some of which I thought I'd share with you now.

With my best friend and my boyfriend.

Left to right- Tara, me, Laura, Ellen

Laura is one of my favourite gingers

My beautiful friends before the prom at a friend's house
I'll be getting back into the proper swing of things tomorrow now that I have a plan of what I'm going to be writing about.

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day whatever you're up to :)

Sunny Picnic with Friends

Today, I thought I'd let you into my life a little bit more and show you what I got up to a couple of days ago. Yesterday, it was my friend Lucy's 16th birthday and to celebrate, our group of friends went out for a really sweet little picnic in the park on Tuesday (the 25th). The sun decided to make and appearance which made the day even more lovely. It was also a bit gusty so excuse our hair in some of the photos! So here's a few pictures of our afternoon out...

Lucy (left), Ellie (middle) and me pulling the most attractive face of us all.
The three of us in this picture are constantly having long discussions about all things youtube and blogging. We're quite frankly obsessed with people like Zoe and Louise

With my friend Caitlin. Pose alert.

Lucy (left), Katie (right) and a fraction of the food that we all brought... who needs diets.

With my beautiful ginge Laura. I think my expression shows how I feel about this girl.
With the birthday ginge. We were rather excited it seems!
From left to right: Tara, Caitlin and Millie.

I shall leave you with the rather entertaining image of me having a little dance. I'm pretty sure this was when a few of us started singing 'Let's go fly a kite' from Mary Poppins... we were just high on life.
Let's all pray we all get some more sunny days over the summer!

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day whatever you're up to :)

Goodbye GCSEs!

Today I ventured into the mess that is my desk, sorted through piles of paper, books and generic stuff I've collected there over the past few years while studying for my GCSEs. I decided that now they're done and dusted, I'd compile it all together in a primark bag (well known for their sturdiness- smart one Charlie) and take it to the recycling bin.

Now I've done this, I feel so refreshed and free! Having a good de-clutter always feels really beneficial to me and now I've got rid of pretty much all of my work from the past 2/3 years, I feel really excited about what challenges A-levels are going to present me with (I bet I'll regret saying that once I get into the swing of them in September).

A rather hefty amount of paper

Have a lovely day, whatever you're up to :)
