Primark Haul- September 2013

For the past say.. 2 months, I've done a fair bit of shopping; the perks of having a part-time job now! I've been online buying a few things over recent weeks and then actually got up, went out and shopped in the real world and not on the internet. It is possible my dear people! This haul shall be just of the things I found in Primark, everyone's favourite bargain-filled shop of beauty, and there'll be another haul in the very near future showing you the things I bought from other shops. I actually couldn't find as much in Primark as I normally can- my primark seems to be in that nasty' transition between seasons' stage.. anyone else have this in their local primark at the mo?

 Blue Tribal Earrings- £2
Suppose these are slightly summery, but blue looks lovely all year round in my opinion. These are going to be used repeatedly to brighten up outfits over the winter I feel.

 Gold and Silver Rings- £3
This set of three rings caught my eye when browsing the jewellery. Each of them looks rather vintage and interesting: the top one, a brassy gold with a band of flowers, the middle one, a silver woven pattern and the bottom one, a shinier gold with a band of gold daisies. Love them!

Floral Bow Hair Bobble- £1
This absolute steal is so pretty and girly. I apologise that it doesn't have the label on in the picture, I couldn't wait to wear it! The bow is made of a smooth, patent plastic material and it looks so cute perching on the top of a bun or a ponytail to add a bit of something different and colourful to what may look like a simple everyday hairstyle.

Tan Saddle Bag- £9
I've been looking for a brown 'day to day' bag for months now and thought this one was perfect. The cutout detailing gives it a little something different and it's perfect size. It even has the prettiest lining I think I've ever seen in a primark bag! Plus, it a separate zip up compartment in it, brilliant for keeping your phone safe when out and about.

Silver Stretchy Watch- £5
I haven't had a watch since I was about 12 and decided getting one might help get me into an organised mindset, at school especially. This one is so comfy to wear and the fact that it's stretchy means there's no buckling hassle. The hearts around the clock face give it a very girly touch as well.

 Monochrome Floral Oversized Shirt- £12
This shirt is stunning and has a gorgeous floral pattern, very topshop-esque I feel. The material is so smooth and floaty, quite sheer though. I love the dip hem- it dips right down to almost the back of my knees and I think it just feels so flattering. It's also VERY oversized; I got a size 6 and it still looks very oversized, but that's how it's supposed to look so I ain't complanining! I cannot wait to wear this with jeans, skirts or even just leggings and boots in the winter.

Dark Blue Pinafore Dress- £12
I recently found a dark blue denim pinafore skater dress in Topshop, the price of which is £38! I held back from spending this in the hope of finding a cheaper alternative. THANKS PRIMARK! This cheeky find obviously isn't as good quality as the topshop one, but it fits me so well and is exactly what I wanted. I'll be wearing this for months, most probably with tights over the colder seasons.

Cornflower Blue Cropped Jumper- £10
This has been my favourite colour for around 6 months now and so I couldn't resist this little number. I'm a very jumper person as I love being cosy and warm. This will also add a pop of colour to my winter wardrobe, a colour which I thought was very 'Bikini-so-teeny' don't you think?! Bring on A/W I say.

Forest Green Skater Skirt- £8
Primark skater skirts are an absolute dream. True, the belts aren't much cop but the skirts themselves are fandabbydozy (spell check loved that one!). It has quite a ribbed feel to the material, but it's not stiff in the slightest, still very flowy and soft. This is one of the most perfect Autumnal colours and can't wait to wear it with tights and ankle boots.

I did get a fair few other little bits as I always seem to do in the land of Primark, but to be honest they're pretty simple things like tights and socks and travel liquids bottles, so thought I'd spare you the trouble of scrolling through the boring bits.

Another haul to come in a few days with some bits I've picked up from Topshop, New Look and H&M!

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day whatever you're up to :)

DISCLAIMER
Everything in this post has been bought with my own money. All opinions are my own. I don't do hauls to brag; I do them because I, along with many other people out there, enjoy them and like seeing what's in the shops (especially primark).

Primark and New Look Haul, June 2013

So I didn't post anything yesterday or the day before which means I now feel very disappointed with myself. I had posted at least once a day since I started blogging.. now that streak is ruined and I feel very ashamed *hangs head in shame*

BUT ANYWAY! I never would usually go to primark twice in the space of a week but I had to return some things and ended up exchanging them (I couldn't resist... it's primark) and also managed to buy a couple of other bits from New Look. If you haven't guessed yet, these are my favourite shops, as well as Topshop. I'm digressing now so I shall crack on with showing you these treasures.

Primark

Black floral dress- £10
I eyed this up last time I was in primark, but this time couldn't restrain myself. Although black isn't an especially summery colour, the bright multi-coloured floral pattern makes it so pretty and perfect for summer. It's a beautifully soft material; I think the condition of Primark clothes has definitely improved recently. It has a zip up side and a black crochet waistband which gives it a little unique feature. I'll definitely be making use of this when it gets warmer (if it does) as it's so light and airy.

Black flower sandals- £12
I thought £12 was a lot for Primark sandals really which is why I didn't buy them last time I was there. This time I was actually looking for some sandals and thought 'just because it's Primark, doesn't mean I can't pay a little bit more!'. Like the picture below shows, they are real leather which is obviously why they're a bit pricier. I think the flower detailing on these sandals is so gorgeous though and had to get them this time.

Grey Oversized T-shirt- £3.50
I also bought an oversized, grey tshirt with rolled up sleeves. It's obviously a very basic, slouchy tshirt which will be perfect for either lounging around the house or for casual days. I bought grey because it's a very neutral colour that will go with a lot of brighter bottoms and I can also still wear this in winter.

New Look

Blue patterned trousers- £16.99
I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them as blue is usually my go-to colour with most clothes because it seems to suit my hair and skin colour. The geometric/ aztec print just shouts summer and I think will look perfect with a crop top, sandals and a denim jacket. They're not supposed to be high waisted, but I'm fairly short I think and they come up quite high on me. The material is also really breezy and soft which will be perfect for summer weather.

Pink Floral Skater Skirt- £12.99
The print on this skirt is very me- it has dainty little pink, golden and light green flowers and I think will be so easy to style this summer, especially with denim (I love the combination of denim and florals). It came with a brown belt which is actually really pretty, even though I don't usually like the belts that come with clothes.

Blue Midi Pencil Skirt- £9.99
This skirt is beautiful! The colour is a very classic royal blue, it's so comfy and not as tight and clingy as I thought it would be- I wore it to a party on Friday and could still move easily as it didn't cling to my calves (I featured this in an OOTE a couple of days ago). I think this will look lovely with a black, white, grey or patterned top, so it's very easy to style and it was a complete steal at just £9.99!

I probably won't be doing another haul until I get back from America now (the start of August) as I need to start saving up some more pennies so I can do a bit of shopping there.
My blog has started getting a few more views now which has made me really happy, so if you're someone who keeps reading or has followed me, thank you so much <3

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day whatever you're up to :)

Primark Haul, June 2013

Hello there fellow earthlings :D
This is my very first 'proper' blog post so it's fairly nerve racking typing this.
Today I ventured into the Bullring for a bit of me time and a chance to do some damage to my bank account, a chance that I definitely made the most of I'd say!

I made some cheeky purchases from Primark, New look and H&M. Since primark don't have a website, I love reading blog posts or watching videos about what's in primark. This post will only be of the bits I bought from primark, as I think it would be too long if I included everything I bought today!
So I'll be doing a separate post with those things in at some point soon.

Navy polka dot boxy shirt, £10
This shirt definitely doesn't seem like it's from primark. It's such a light, soft material you could easily assume it's from somewhere like Topshop. It's somewhere inbetween cropped and normal length which I quite like.
Blue roll sleeve oversize crop top, £3
This is basically the same as the Topshop ones but a fraction of the price and pretty much the same quality.
They're oh so very comfy and easy to style!
Grey runner shorts, £3

I can tell I'm going to be wearing these shorts a lot over the summer when I'm lounging around the house because they're so stretchy and comfy.
White fitted crop top, £3

Black fitted crop top, £3

I think these tops are flippin brilliant and I've been wearing them rather a lot recently with skater skirts, high waisted jeans and under a pinafore dress.

Black, blue and grey frilly socks, £1.50 each
I've been looking for these socks in my primark for ages. I love the ones in topshop but couldn't justify spending £4 per pair when primark's are exactly the same and only £1.50 per pair... What a bargain hunter I am ey.
Brown moccasins, £8. White plimsolls, £3
I've been looking for moccasins for ages and these are perfect! Hopefully they'll be as comfy as they look (they're the special 'sole desire' ones). The plimsolls are a repurchase for me. My old ones got rather muddy but I loved how comfy they were and they're a complete bargain at a tiny £3!
'Disco pant' style trousers, £16
For months I've been lusting after the American Apparel disco pants but just couldn't bring myself to spend £74 on them! These are a brilliant copy, very stretchy but they are quite long on me (I'm 5 ft 5) so may have to take them up a bit. Hopefully I'll be brave enough to wear them at some point.. if all else fails I can always wear them to a fancy dress party as Sandy from Grease!
Tan bowler bag, £8
This is a perfect sized bag for me. Such good quality for a primark bag which are typically a bit hit and miss. It has short handles and a long detachable strap; I'll most probably be using the long strap more.

Contrast sleeve jersey dress, £5
I spotted this in the childrens' section. These casual dresses are so 'me' as I can wear them day to day and not look too dressed up. I'm a size 6/8 and age 12-13 fits me perfectly.

Floral hair bobble- £1.50, Chiffon bow bobble- £1

I'm loving all these little hair accessories at the moment! This floral one especially would be perfect for a festival (I'm not lucky enough to be going to one). It's so pretty and will be perfect for adding a little bit of summer spark to an outfit. The black bow bobble is also really cute and very me.

PHEW...that really did take a while to write!
Just as a disclaimer, I haven't made this to boast about the things I've bought. It seems a lot of people (including myself) find these helpful to know what's in primark at the moment- as I mentioned at the start.
I'll be showing the other few bits I bought from the other shops very soon, along with possibly some reviews of some beauty items I've recently bought.

Thank you for reading!
Have a lovely day, whatever you're up to.
